Club Meetings are held once a month on a Saturday (see Calendar) at the Rocklea Show Grounds, 118 Goburra Street Rocklea, just off the Ipswich Service Road. For directions click on the Google 'Site Map' and 'Rocklea Map' buttons.

We open at 8:30am for workshop activities where you can bring and work on your own timepiece using the club's extensive range of equipment.

At 12:15pm the main meeting commences with a Show & Tell.

This is followed by either -
-
a General Meeting - a guest speaker on a horological topic, or
-
a Workshop - covering an aspect of clock or watch repairs.

The finish time is about 2:00pm. however you are free to come and go anytime.

Tea and coffee is provided, but bring your own lunch.
What else do we have to offer?

Opportunities to interact informally, swap ideas and get expert advice.

A 'Show and Tell' where you can describe your new acquisitions and share handy tips.

Take part in the Train Wreck competition where members show and explain the restoration process of a clock or watch in dire need of some TLC.

Borrow from the library. With over 300 books it is a great source of information. Refer to the 'Library' menu.

Buy or sell timepieces at the mart operating each meet.

Go on field trips.

A yearly auction with around 400 - 500 items up for sale.

Receive a quarterly newsletter "The Mainspring" containing club and general news.

Attend the Christmas party. This is a fun social event with activities such as a trivia quiz, raffles, competitions, a silent auction and of course great food.
